As promised...GrownFolk Entertainment the podcast episode 1

Here it is ya'll....

I know we've been talking about doing this and doing that and the follow up has been slow. But as promised, here is the first episode of our podcast. We hope for this to be a weekly thing or bi weekly thing. Here are some instructions for ya'll:

to download....or stream

click the link
under choose download type click the free download icon down at the bottom of the page
clicking that will take you to a new page; wait the alloted seconds until you're given the prompt
enter the letters/numbers into the box and click download
a box will appear and ask you if you want to download, open, or cancel
if you want to save it to your computer and then play it, click download
if you'd rather just listen to it, but not save it, then click open

Grownfolk the Podcast....

Podcast? What is that? Anybody with an ipod should know what a podcast is, but for those who don't i'll explain it. According to wikipedia a podcast is:
Podcasting is the method of distributing multimedia files, such as audio programs or music videos, over the Internet using either the RSS or Atom syndication formats, for playback on mobile devices and personal computers. The term podcast, like 'radio', can mean both the content and the method of delivery. The host or author of a podcast is often called a podcaster. Podcasters' web sites may also offer direct download or streaming of their files; a podcast however is distinguished by its ability to be downloaded automatically using software capable of reading RSS or Atom feeds.

Derived from ipod and brodcasting, hence the word podcast, simply put a podcast is simply like a radio program that is available for download via the web. Starting soon GrownFolk Entertainment will bring you a podcast every week. In the podcast we will update you on Grownfolk affairs, but we will also be doing interviews, and playing our music, as well as music from other artist. Most of the podcasts will be hosted by yours truly, Shirl Dee capital, but as always my man Al Pete will be in the house as well. Please tune in and check back to check out the podcast.
